The first week of May, Val Brown and I stopped by True Colors Bookstore (formerly Amazon Feminist Books) in Minneapolis to see owner Ruta and manager Jessie. The store looks GREAT, and they have tons of wonderful books. I recommend a visit for anyone in the Twin Cities area.

Earl Kemp's online 'zine, eI, has featured a memoir piece I wrote called "There is No Reason Not To Trust that the Act of Writing Will Be Enough."

I appeared with Victor J. Banis in Madison Wisconsin, at A Room of One's Own on October 6 to do a presentation and discussion about gay and lesbian writing. The event was sponsored by The U of W's LGBT Campus Center and was part of the October Coming Out festivities.
