Writer's Quote
For the Week of June 28 - July 4, 2009

"[F]or believable fiction, you need to use the same techniques as a good liar does. And if you want to tell a good lie, then you give accurate circumstantial detail, a lot of truth mixed in with the falsehood, a high level of plausibility, and you keep it as simple as possible. And you don't bring other witnesses in to confuse the tale."
~Mary Gentle, author of Ash: A Secret History, in an interview with Nick Gevers

Lori & Patty & Jessie Go Shooting!

Bill's Gun Club in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, was the site of scary doings this weekend. The Book Addicts went out to target shoot.

Jessie and Lori load up magazines for Jessie's Glock and Lori's Beretta.

Patty had a great night shooting. Considering it was only her second time on a range, she shot the hell out of her targets.

I had a pretty decent night of accuracy as well, and we had a LOT of fun!
